Are you seeking a meaningful volunteer experience for your organization or volunteer team?  Perhaps, you have wanted to volunteer and weren’t sure where to begin.  You might work with an organization wanting to further engage staff in the community while offering a great team building experience.  United Way Days of Caring will suit your needs.  Days of Caring allows each organization or volunteer group to choose a day(s) for volunteering which works best for them. United Way Days of Caring will be able to create multiple opportunities for team engagement at whatever time is convenient for your organization.

Submit Your Volunteer Project

Do you have a project for which you need a group of volunteers?  We need your projects to make Days of Caring a success. Help us create an ongoing list of potential projects which support one or more of United Way’s goals:

Education – Help children and youth achieve their potential
Financial Stability – Help families become financially stable
Health – Help increase healthy behaviors

If you would like the opportunity to have United Way place volunteers for your project(s), please click here for a United Way Days of Caring project form. You are welcome and encouraged to submit more than one project. Some project ideas to get you thinking include: 1) Creation of a garden or existing garden clean up; 2) Day of literacy engagement with volunteers reading to children in different classrooms; 3) Repairs to or modernization of a computer lab or volunteer room, etc.

Thank you, and we look forward to working with you to build a more dynamic model for year-round volunteerism in our community!
