On Thursday, October 4, a "State of Education" forum was held at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa about propositions 30 and 38. Margaret Weston, Policy Fellow with the Public Policy Institute of California, and Edgar Cabral, Analyst with Legislative Analyst Office, led discussions.
The event was sponsored by the Community Foundation Sonoma County, Sonoma County Education Coalition, United Way of the Wine Country and United Ways of California. Cradle to Career, Department of Health Services, Child Care Planning Council of Sonoma County and Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County also helped make the event possible.
