The United Way 20th Annual Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Over a thousand volunteers will donate their time and energy to complete
projects for local service agencies in Sonoma, Mendocino and Humboldt counties. Past projects have included delivering meals, painting, creating safer playgrounds, tutoring children and much more.
The day will start with kick-off rally for volunteers helping at Sonoma and Mendocino county projects at 8am. The rally in Sonoma County will be held in Santa Rosa at County Center (on Administrative Drive between County Center and Ventura). Ukiah's rally will be held at the Ukiah Civic Center (City Hall).
