Day of Caring
A DAY TO GIVE BACK. A DAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The United Way 20th Annual Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Over a thousand volunteers will donate their time and energy to complete
projects for local service agencies in Sonoma, Mendocino and Humboldt counties. Past projects have included delivering meals, painting, creating safer playgrounds, tutoring children and much more.
A kick-off rally will be held for volunteers helping at Sonoma and Mendocino county projects. Rallies will start at 8am. Ukiah's rally will be held at the Ukiah Civic Center (City Hall).
