United Way of the Wine Country's President and CEO Named Oustanding Young Professional

(April 11, 2012, Santa Rosa) United Way of the Wine Country’s president and CEO, Mike Kallhoff, has been selected by the North Bay Business Journal as one of the publication’s 2012 ‘Forty under 40’ remarkable professionals based on their leadership and influence in the community. Kallhoff was selected from more than 100 nominees by the Business Journal editorial staff.

“Everyone at United Way, including the board of directors, is excited by this acknowledgement of Mike’s work in the community,” said Bill Nordskog, United Way Board Chair. “He brings an incredible amount of energy and professionalism to United Way, while also strengthening relationships and working with community partners to provide a collective impact the entire community will feel.”

Kallhoff serves on a number of boards and committees including Health Action, Upstream Investments, the Santa Rosa Mayors Gang Task Force, 2-1-1, Sonoma County Health Alliance and Healthy Kids. In his free time he is also involved with the Santa Rosa Girls Softball League where he serves on the board as the sponsorship coordinator and Rookie/Pixie representative. He is also a member of Leadership Santa Rosa Class XXVIII.

Kallhoff and the other Forty under 40 professionals will be honored at a gala reception on May 2 at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa. They also will be featured in the Business Journal’s Forty under 40 special publication.
